Host of “My health, My life” on UTV Abigail Naa Merley Ashley, undergoes a successful kidney transplant. Abigail Ashley has been battling with Chronic Kidney Disease for 13 solid years.
She took to her social media page to show gratitude to God and all those who helped her through the journey.
“God made the way and my godfathers (Dr. Ofori Sarpong, Dr. Osei Kwame Despite and Dr. Fadda Dickson add all the necessary support. And I am also grateful to you all, your well wishes and prayers worked. God Bless us all Amen 🙏🏾”
She added that “It’s over but not over, Kidney Transplant after 13 years of battling with Chronic Kidney Disease.”The Kidney Transplant survivor, has written a book “The New Me” in which she recounts episode from the time of diagnosis to her recovery.
Through her journey, she was handled by the End Point Homeopathic Clinic, the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital and the Transplant Link in the United Kingdom.
